  1. Trust Your Gut Instincts

    • If something feels “off,” don’t dismiss it. Early discomfort is often the first red flag.

  2. Spot Red Flags Early

    • Watch for controlling behavior, dishonesty, inconsistency, or avoidance of accountability.

  3. Establish & Hold Boundaries

    • Decide your non-negotiables before you date. Say “no” without apology when limits are crossed.

  4. Protect Your Energy

    • Don’t over-invest too soon. Pace emotional sharing to match trust earned over time.

  5. Online Safety First

    • Keep personal info (address, workplace, finances) private. Meet in public spaces until trust is proven.

  6. Know Your Environment

    • Stay aware of surroundings on dates. Share your location with a trusted friend.

  7. Never Leave Your Drink Unattended

    • Protect yourself from tampering; order your own and keep it in sight.

  8. Look for Actions, Not Just Words

    • Reliability, follow-through, and consistency are the true signs of character.

  9. Watch How They Handle Conflict

    • Respect in disagreement shows emotional maturity; cruelty or stonewalling is a danger sign.

  10. Stay Rooted in Values

  • Let your spiritual and personal compass guide decisions, not pressure or chemistry alone.
